of your mind, in a meditative frame of awareness. Being clear in
your vision of what you want will help it manifest in the way that
you desire, for the highest good of all. The following meditation--Releasing a Request--is excerpted from my book, Inner Journeys.
You have a very special request, perhaps a hope you'd like to see realized, a dream you'd like to have come true, a question you'd like to have answered, or a problem you'd like to have solved. Think about your request carefully and in great detail. Ponder all the reasons why you want it and how you'll feel when it is granted. See what you will do with it when you receive it, and how you will share it.Imagine all the things that may need to occur in your life before your request is granted. See those things happening in your mind; be open to receiving other ideas, insights, and images that show you things you may not have thought of or considered yet.
Feel a wonderful sense of hope in your heart, and believe that your request is manifesting even as you think about it. Be loving in your desire and appreciative in your anticipation. Simply feel the joy of
it in your soul.
Begin to put your thoughts, feelings, insights, ideas, and images
into motion by taking action on them to bring them into being. Be spontaneous and free with your actions, going with the flow of them, listening to your inner thoughts and following your feelings. Trust and know that your request will come to be, yet remain detached from achieving specific results so that even better things can occur.
As you prepare to receive the fulfillment of your request, you may decide to ask for help from higher sources so that whatever happens will be the most beneficial for everyone who is involved or who will be touched by it. In your mind, write your request on a piece of paper, pouring out all your thoughts and feelings about it.
Give the paper to a beautiful white dove who is waiting on the sill
of an open window. As the dove flies into the universe with your request, you know that it is being fulfilled in the proper timing and
in the most appropriate manner for the highest good of all.
